Lord John and the private matter by Diana Gabaldon
Book Number:RC 57169
2 sound cassettes Series; Lord John Grey novel
England, 1757. Lord John Grey tries to save his cousin from marrying a man
he suspects of having syphilis. Grey gets sidetracked by a murder
investigation that quickly reveals treason and scandal involving every level
of English society. Strong language and some descriptions of sex.
Bestseller. 2003
I am a huge Gabaldon fan, this book is short in comparison to her others.
It was a good read. As many of you may know Lord John is a Gaye man in her
books, so if you don't want to read about the sex lives of gay men, don't
read this one. She doesn't get as graphic in the sex department as in the
Outlander series, but it's still there. The story is good with a surprise
ending.
